Most wedding photographers who shoot in Greece don’t live in Greece. They fly in from London, from New York, from Melbourne — brilliant photographers, often, but working against the clock and the light of a country they visit, not inhabit.
I live in Athens. I’ve been photographing weddings across the Greek islands since 2011. I know which chapel in Santorini has afternoon light that ruins photographs, and which has the light that makes them. I know the ferry schedules to Folegandros and the sunset time on Milos in every month of the year.
That knowledge doesn’t make the photographs better on its own. But it means I’m never surprised by the day — which means you don’t have to worry about the person holding the camera.

Based in Athens since 2011. I'm not a European photographer who specializes in destination work — I live on the ground you're flying to. That means faster planning, no accommodation for me to arrange, and a real relationship with venues, planners, and chapels across the country.
Documentary, never directed.
I photograph what actually happens. The glance between you before the ceremony, the uncle who won't stop laughing, the light that will never fall that way again. I'll occasionally guide a portrait — but I don't stage weddings, and I'm not standing in front of you with a pose list.

Most destination couples are emailing five photographers on the same night. I reply personally, usually within 2–4 hours during Athens daytime, with real answers — not a brochure. If my style isn't right for you, I'll say so and point you to someone who is.

Every Greek wedding is different. A two-hour elopement on a Milos cliff and a three-day Corfu villa celebration don’t belong in the same package template — so I don’t put them there.

Completely normal. I’m happy to talk through the differences between islands before you decide — Santorini versus Milos, Corfu versus Mykonos, mainland versus Cyclades. Often the decision gets easier once you describe the wedding you’re imagining.
I reply personally within 24–48 hours, usually within 2–4 hours during Athens daytime. If it feels like a fit, we schedule a 20-minute video call to talk through your day. After the call, I send a tailored quote and contract. A 30% non-refundable deposit secures the date; final balance is due 10 days before the wedding.
Yes. All my international couples — primarily from the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK — communicate with me in English throughout. I work closely with English-speaking planners across Greece and handle all logistics in plain, direct communication.
Primary shooter for the agreed coverage hours, a private online gallery delivered within 4–6 weeks, all edited high-resolution photographs with print release, 10-15 previews in 24 hours and a second shooter when the wedding warrants it. Albums and prints are available as add-ons but never pushed.
Yes. I’ve photographed weddings across Santorini, Mykonos, Milos, Corfu, Zakynthos, Folegandros, Sifnos, Samos, Kythera, Kimolos, Paros, the Athens Riviera, mainland locations plus more. No additional travel fees apply within Greece. Remote islands requiring overnight stays are factored into the quote.
Most couples book 8–18 months in advance for destination weddings in Greece. Peak dates (May, June, September, early October) on Santorini, Mykonos, and the Cyclades often fill 12+ months out. For elopements and off-season weddings, 4–6 months is usually enough.
